Well,,I got a notice tellin me the local newspaper is going to a weekly format and at this point they do not know if rural delivery will be available for the one day on Thursdays.. That is kinda sad as it been in circulation since the 1930's, I believe,,,,,,
I always had a runnin battle with the delivery person as we were at the end of the route and would most likely get the paper after 5:30,,,,if we even got it at all,,,,,,the newspaper woman would always flip me off if I was outside when she come up to the paper box. ( She never like'ed that I would call the circulation mgr to ask bout the paper delivery,,,,LOLLOLLOL
On the other hand, I was just about to cancel anyway as they have gotten WAY left leaning in their political opinions and I do not want to pay for THEIR opinions....
 There,,,I said it,,,,,,LOLLOL

Our home tow weekly paper we called the Times Blabber went under two years back but was picked up by another town and is now the gazette. It's better than the old one.

Actually,,Shameless,,,I am pretty broad minded and I like to discuss politics with most anyone,,,as long as they agree with me,,,,,,,LOL
No,,seriously tho,,I do enjoy discussing politics because it is SO important these times,,but I will not get into an argument about same. The chief at the local newspaper used his "bully Pulpit" to state HIS ideas and that is,, in itself,,wrong. Anyways,,,at the coffee shop this mornin,,the discussion was that several people had written "Letter to the Editor" complaining about the left leaning articles and their "letters to the editor" never got printed,,,, so,,,I'm not too terribly heart broken that they are slowly going under,,,,,Clap
My prediction is,,,,,,when cnn goes under, America will be a much better place for everybody. (and I ain't giving out my phone number!!)LOL Chit,,I;m outa here,,,,,,

Our veru left leaning newspaper have been known to give the paper away to strum up new business.  A few weeks ago some guy was setting in front of WalMarts giving it away,  as I walked by he says to me "it`s free today"  and I said "that`s more than it`s worth" and kept walking.

Weiner,,,,,,,LOLLOLLOLClapClapClap

Our home town paper is now being printed in Madison and then trucked up here.
It, the Daily Rag, has been losing people for quite some time now.  And like you say, it's yesterdays news off of CNN.  There are NO local stories and I agree, you couldn't GIVE it to me.  I don't want it.

Puppies can't use it for peein on cause it'll make their paws all ink black.  Also, you can't put it in the bottom of the bird cage or it'll kill em.
