 Topic: AC D17 series 1 spin out rim, how far does it go?

Can I spin the rim all the way in? Or does the rim have to be between the bolted on stops? Looks like the tire has the room to me, but wondering if it is safe to spin it to that location?  Thanks |

As long as the tire does not hit the fender you can run tire all the way in. Just be care full about making sharp turns, and side hills as the tread width is narrower the tractor could roll over.

Yes and in that position you only need one stop.Jus stick the other one in the rail where you can get at it. Safer than throwing in tool box(LOST).

Check to make sure the tire clears the fender, some have had bigger tires put on and will hit the fender.

Looks like you may have some oversize tires on the D-17 and that may prohibit you from bringing it in all the way.
When new with the standard tries on them we brought them in all the way for plow use. We usually left the outside wheel out further for stability but I cannot recall having a problem. Good Luck! Bill Lopng

This is what my grandpa used to say they'd do on the farm. I've always plowed with both tires in, but man it makes for a narrow ride...
