Just a big thanks to Steve at B&B for the hi-torque starter he built for my mildly modified WD 45 engine that I built for my 'ol WD. I had one rebuilt here at a local shop that does excellent work but it just wouldn't turn that engine over fast enough to start, especially in cold weather. I phoned Steve and talked to him about it and he offered to build a starter that produces a much higher torque. I received it back a couple of days ago and man, it spins that motor over just fine now.
I'm sure the carb he did for me will perform just as well! Thanks for your excellent work Steve!! I highly recommend him for electrical repairs and wiring. The quality is outstanding. |

Don't be surprised if it breaks a starter drive some day down the road. MACK

Thanks for the Kudo's Phil! Glad you like it. Don't worry bout' the Starter drive. There's always a gloom n' doomer lerking. That particular drive I use in the higher torque monsters I build for these big lung motors these cats run. I haven't heard about anyone breaking one yet. I've been using that particular drive for a few years now. That whole unit is custom built inside. That drive has a nice transition to the ring gear. Enjoy! Steve@B&B
