I have a friend that has a side mount sickle bar mower that fits the 20 series John Deere tractors. He had it on a 3020 and it is very unique I believe because it is a side mount mower. In good condition. Does anybody on here have an idea what it is worth? Thanks in advance for any help. Wayne 815 644 0750

If you can post a picture of it, or get a make/model tag no off it, it would help. THe combined experience here will likely be able to narrow down a value for it...

We had one on an MT JD when I was growing up. I hated the darn thing. I got stuck using it all the time. You mowed in 1st gear, anything faster and the ground speed was too fast for it. I do not know what model it was. I do know it was a real pain in the but to mount it. Impossible to make a square corner with it.
