Ok guys so i have a 230 gas Gleaner combine engine and I'm going to be putting it in a Wd45 to make it look like a diesel. I have heard that you will need a D19 starter. I was wondering why you cant use the 230 starter just in the right place in the bell housing of the transmission. If you guys could help, that would be great.
            Thanks

I thought this was a GAS WD-45 chassis ?? ...which means your gas flywheel is wrong, the gas radiator is wrong, the engine backplate is missing, the left side frame will need to be modified, the hood is too short, you have no throttle linkage or governor, etc, etc.....

Yes this is a gas chassis. I have most of the parts like the flywheel, starter, adaptor plate, hood, and i have moved the outlet on the wd45 gas radiator, ect.

I think the clutch is the same. The gas is a six cylinder like the diesel so that what makes it looks like a diesel
