Not a A76 on a trailer, but a A85 in the field.
Local guy I help part time who ran CIH axial flows. After my constant prodding to get a transverse Gleaner, he stumbled onto a deal on a A85 (Massey 9895) and bought it. He sold 2 of his CIHs after buying it. After this summer, he bought a second A85 and sold 4 more CIH axials, so I think he liked it. :) I took the pic from a 2188 that day, but the next day the combine driver he had running it had to go back home to Maryland, and so I got to run it for the rest of harvest. Good ol western KS. 6 miles of roading to the next field, and we ran the 40 foot 9250 Dynaflex draper on the combine the whole way and never came across anyone. 27 mph road speed. ![]() |

Gleaner: the properly engineered and built combine.
If you need parts for your Gleaner, we are parting out A's through L2's, so we may be able to help. |

![]() This is a A85 I hauled a few years ago. With tires on they are too tall to haul legally but I was able to sneak around with it, they are also wider than most eastern states will allow without escorts. As far as the pull out outriggers those are almost a must with AG Equipment in my opinion, we have ruined too many tires when the boards flip up or break on the old style outriggers. BUT I would not want to haul dozers and excavtors on my trailers on a regular basis either because the pull out outriggers are not level with the deck.
