I though i had a pretty good handle on this but i just talk to a guy that said i was wrong. I though you could take the stub axle out of a b with the 5 lug rear wheels and put them in a standard b. Im talking about just the axle shaft its self, i guess im trying to say that all the b rear finele drives are the same. But i just talk to a guy that said id have to change the whole thing. So am i right or him? I just want to make sure so i dont buy just the stub axle and cant use it.

You can exchange axle stubs on a B. The ones in a C are longer.

check you HUB splines if you go that route... I normally see a LOT more wear in the cast hub compared to the steel shaft splines......... but if you go with the 5 bolt, you wont have that problem....... do you drill the old hub or buy new ?
