Searching for a gas D 17 sold at auction about 1980 in St Johns, Mi. Auction was at the intersection of Airport Rd and M-21. This was my fathers and I Do Not have the serial #. It was a 1967 Series 4, I believe. It may have a Pattersons sticker on it (dealer). Factory wf, ps, 3 pt. A Deutz 6206 4wd also sold at the same auction. Please contact me with any information.

Good luck in your search, but without the serial number, you have no way of knowing if it really was your father's tractor. A lot could have happened to the tractor in the last 30 years as well. Could be rotting outside behind someone's barn, could have been parted out or could have been completely restored in that time. I would recommend getting any other 1967 D17 Series IV gas with the features you mentioned - you will not know the difference.

Thank you for your reply. The local dealer that origionally sold the tractor is still in business. Seems a few years back, a flood destroyed all the records, including the #s I need. I'm at a standstill.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. No loader on the Allis at the time of the sale. There was a Deutz with a loader at the same sale.
