    Posted: 12 Jul 2015 at 9:31pm
I am gutting the cab of my 6080 so that I can prepare for installing a new cab interior.  I am having a problem removing the HVAC control panel.  How do I remove the cable from the sliding temperature control?  Also, there is a hard wire (or small metal line) coming from the air conditioning switch, is there a way to disconnect it?

These are the only 2 things holding that panel on.  I would like to have it out of the way when I go to put in the new headliner.

Also, do I have to loosen up the hydraulic controls to fit the new interior in that area?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Cable attaches to heater valve over head inside top of cab may be easier to go ahead and pull top cover the wire that goes in slider has a heck of a bend in it , the metal line goes to expansion valve I think thats what its called and is fixed with a clamp if my memory serves me right and I do believe you take cover off the remote valves controls to form cab kit. I got into this 3-4 years ago when I redone the cab and A/C on my 6060.
