replaced rear bearing +seals using front bearing again seem fine when put together with snap rings on drive gear and in the housing with coupling flange in with snap ring on is it normal for 1/8" play in shaft?? thank you for the time and hopfully a reply Thanks always for the insight I read the book but no info>>

1/8 inch is a lot. Id recheck and see if you can get end play down to less than a 1/16th.
