    Posted: 16 Sep 2012 at 10:01am
Hi all, AC newbie here. Looking to replace the tires on a recently acquired G and am wondering if there is anything special about them that makes them particular to the G. My local service station can get me some 7.2 x 30 and 4.00 x 12s. Are these generic tractor tires likely to fit? I see tires online advertised specifically for the G so was wondering if there is something unique about G tires that I should know about before ordering from my local service station/tire shop. Thanks in advance,,,,,,,

Welcome to the forum. There is nothing special other than the size and I doubt there are very many manufacturers who even make that size so whatever you find would work just fine. Post pics of your tractor, we always like those.

Are the tires from the service station tractor tread. I suspect you could end up with trailer tread or something like that.
You might take a look at Miller tire . I believe they advertise on here.
The universal answer to all questions is yes, how much do you want to spend?
