My 7060 with a foot throttle and hand throttle is not working right, with the hand in low throttle and going to high it works fine but when trying to return to low the hand throttle goes down but the engine speed stays high and the foot throttle stays down and you have to take your hand and force it up and the cable seems to work fine, any ideas?

Usually a new cable or WD-40 all the linkage the cable connects to inside the firewall. There has to be a spring to return the foot pedal....it isn't broken is it???

My 7020 would not return to an idle either. I took the forward foot plate out and found a large mouse nest in the open space underneath. It was holding moisture and rusted up the throttle linkage. Lots of PB Blaster and working back and forth got it working again.
