Poor thing. Looks nice though!
How is it attached? Was it a junker just painted up for the purpose of being up on a stick? If not, I hope the cylinders were packed with grease, and everything overfilled with oil.

There used to be one in northern IA that was a weather vane. Had a mannequin dressed as a woman sitting on it.

I am pretty sure you can add front weights on them. The gas wd looks like that the diesel the motor is longer and goes to the end. 4 cylinder gas 6 cylinder diesel. I always assumed it was the same frame member used on both just to make production with common parts.
To me the wd always looked sloppy like someone just didn't bother to design it right with that longer frame in the front. But I grew up with the d serries probably if I had grown up with a wd it would look normal. Edited by Dan73 - 14 Oct 2016 at 5:58am |

Cultivator brackets are the curved pieces on top the pedestal in front of the rad. I guess I had one of those brain farts for a bit there ![]() Edited by CTuckerNWIL - 14 Oct 2016 at 9:24pm |

The brackets on the WC in the first picture fit the WC cultivator. It is different from the WD and WD45 cultivator.

There used to be a junkyard near Durham NC can't remember the name sold tractor and car parts that had a car on a pole like that.Got to know the owner pretty well he told me about the time the IRS was on him pretty good and they hid out in the woods across from his place watching. One Friday afternoon he took a ladder and climbed up to the car and put $5,000 in it.Monday morning IRS comes in with a warrant and scearched the car and took the $5000 and then left him alone. He said it was the best 5K he ever spent as he really probably owed over 100K.
