Sure does...
The 2 row check row wire corn planter, looks really cool. Did not know allis made one. Will be interesting to see what that brings.
The descriptions are a funny too. Never knew the 1 row pickers were 'rare'!

Yeah, their descriptions are just a little off on some things. The spreaders are interesting, too.

Maybe the world war II steel rear end, Charlie. Randy, I've got my stuff picked out and if we can use your checkbook we could go up there and come home with some neat "prizes". joe

The one row picker says with stripper plates. I didn't know they made a 35 picker with stripper plates.

he was a somewhat discriminating collector, looks like nice original stuff. Not like the baling wire/welded together/rusted stuff I usually get ;) |

I'm planning on being there for a little bit. I had talked with Roman on a few occasions over the years. He told me not to listen to all those who would poo poo the idea of buying some of this old iron even if you couldn't keep it in a shed. His thinking was if were between him buying it and setting it outside for some years or a scrap man getting it then he would buy it.

Roman was a good man and was fun to visit with. The newer equipment was used this spring as far as I know. I was told that he sold off his remaining farm land this fall. The deal was done on Monday, he got the check for the land on Tuesday and passed away Tuesday night.
Most of the machines are in good condition. If I remember correctly the 40 was rusted out on the bottom of the cylinder and the augers. The camel back combine needs all new wood also.
As far as the corn picker having stripper plates-ALL A-C pickers had stripper plates.
Should be a great sale. I will be heading there as well. I will probably be wearing my blue New Holland hat with a Steam Engine Days button on it.
Jim
