Not bad, a Athens single bottom disc plow for a B or C. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

That's the third one of those I've seen in the 8 or 9 years I've been paying attention to Athens and Allis implements. Looks like a "late" model too, since it has the steering rod attached to the arm on the hitch. The early ones had a very long rod that connected to the tractor's steering linkage. Be careful, the Athens stuff is addicting! You'll have to have a three or four disc tiller next... BTW: If anyone has an Athens semi mounted disc plow for parts, I could really use the heavy "helper" spring that hooks on the tailwheel depth lever. Mine broke over the winter some time, and it gets a bit interesting adjusting the tailwheel depth without it! |

Charles: I'm afraid that welding would destroy the temper of the spring. Also, the small part that broke off is now missing. I may get bold and try to do something with it, but I thought it was worth a try to ask the forum first... Brett |

Brett, try to match up a spring from a snow plow trip spring Meyers or Western Plow. I was at my local agri parts store and saw some. I thought they might work. Or try Grangers. Have a good one Bill
