State says I need a new food processing plant license. So I start in on their new easy to use web site to renew the license. 2.5 hours later and getting help from #1 son we finally got it done. $150.00 later finished the job. Oh well I'm sitting here tonight drinking a good cup of coffee and watching my favorite TV show. I was supposed to go look at a tandem disk today. The man said he pulled it for 20+ years and parked it in the fence row, he's retired now. 14' disk, its only 40+ miles down there. Only gonna use it to disk up about 1 acre for the 3 boys to use for a garden. The old boy is asking $450.00 for it. That's about $200.00 higher than the older AC disks sell for around here. Hoping its a 2300 series that would be about right for an early 1 of those. He said it had a couple of broken blades. I've still got a few new blades left over from replacing them on the Kewanee disk I had for years. Even with all new blades on it the Kewanee was a hunk of junk unless you were disking plowed ground, Sorry Shameless, It's supposed to pour down rain all day tomorrow, if I can catch a little blue sky, I might take the trip. Another positive thing happened today, I've had a couple of young ladies owe me a couple hundred dollars since the middle of last year. I got ahold of both of them and got paid today.

That means the disk will only cost $250 right?

Pretty sure I'm not a good enough tractor drive to even turn around with a 14' disc on 1 acre Tongue

And the image that came to mind, was Tom, sipping coffee, lookin' out the window at two young women, draggin' a busted-up old tandem disk... by hand... to break up his acre... LOL
