It is with great sadness that early Friday evening my dad Alfred Dancho passed away tragically on our family farm from a massive heat attack.
Being 68 he left us way to early and only started slowing down the farm operation a couple years back.
Although he was never on his forum as computers weren't his thing, his was a long time subscriber to Old Allis news and attended many allis shows every year. In fact the last conversation I had with him he mentioned how excited he was to go to hutch next weekend just as he did for over 20 years. We farm up by Winnipeg Manitoba. We weren't always allis in fact our entire farm was John Deere and Massey in the 80's. Only after discovering how great our first gleaner was we then switched everything over to Agco and AC. Dad also had one of the most extensive allis toy collections in the country. The most memorable show I attended with him was the 2005 "coming home" in West Allis"
He enjoyed talking with with many of you at the shows.
So this year he will be there at hutch in spirit.
Thank you,
ALLIS CHALMERS "The color is orange"

Sorry for your loss. Sixty eight is way too early but none of us know when our time in this life will end. Praying that God will grant you and your family comfort and strength as well as peace during your time of grief.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

It's tough losing "The Old Man". Not a day goes by that I don't think about mine. Just carry on the way you know he would want you to. Remember, he's still watching.

Losing a parent is a hard thing, My Dad died back in 83.  You'll have all kinds of questions you'd love to ask, but will go unanswered.
Keep your chin up and keep doing what you know he expects out of you.  You'll 'feel' him smiling down on you every once in a while....
Prayers to you and your family and I'll think of him this year when I'm at Hutch.  May God smile down on you.

Thank you all for your kind words.
One of the things dad always said that he liked about the Allis brand is the fans, we're a tight nit group.
I may be needing some of your assistance in the coming weeks.
After a lifetime of farming this was going to be his first soybean crop.
He was so excited as they are over waist high. We ran gleaner rotaries for roughly 25 years. He down graded last year when he cut back on acreage to an old L3. So I may need some advise on settings.
Thank you again.

My thoughts and Prayers are with you and yours in this time of deep grief.  You only get one father.
I still vividly remember when my Dad died in 1989.  We  knew it was coming but it was still so hard.
I may well have met him.  I was at "Coming Home" too.
Good Luck!
