After playing with the timing light, I decided to drive it out and see if the subtle changes I made did anything.  Some folks have a real ear or feel for timing these things, I get them quite close by ear but they always seem to need a tweak according to the light.  I couldn't hear any difference from where I had it to where the light put it, but it does seem to sound pretty nice now.  Here it is pulling some sumac that keeps crowding the place I try and park my trailer.
