Has anyone ever put a stock U or UC on a dyno? I keep thinking that they had more power than reported on the Nebraska Tests. Thanks.

Thanks. I assume the U was stock. Were the high compression pistons in the UC stock or some you had modified? My UC has 14.9X30 tires on it so it tends to power-out when I pull it at our club pulls. Of course it scoots right along in first gear with those big tires. Even though the engine is in good shape, maybe some shaved off the head would make it spunkier.

The pistons in our UC are cast iron the pistons I took out came about 3/8 below the top of the sleeves the ones in there now are about 3/8 above the sleeves + I had .125 thou. off of the head it is a bear to pull over tdc. The tractor belongs to my son now he has kindof lost interest but I would like to put aluminum pistons w/ even higher compession i think they would have to be made.
