Hello. Are the swathboards on the model 80 mowers and 82 mowers interchangable? I assume they are but want to make sure.

Yes.  Cutter bar parts are interchangeable between AC mowers, both pitman and twin wheel type, with the exception of the bar itself and the knife heads.  From the inner shoe inward, it is a different story though.

If any one is looking for quality swathboards, Brad in Iowa makes exact reproductions that are spot on accurate and includes all the hardware.  Here is a picture of one of his swathboards on my 82S mower.  His number is 712 483 2577

That swathboard looks as good as my NOS board.

3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.
