Trying to remove (In frame) W201 sleeves. Looks like the PO applied some kind of black sealer to the sleeves and they are stuck tight.
My trusty sleeve puller won't budge them, my puck actually bent cup shape Any ideas? Last resort will be to remove the engine and crank and pound them out.

If you can get something to push up past the crank on the bottom you can use a jack to help push them out

I used or tried to use a store bought puller, it broke. I built a heavier one, it broke. Then I got serious, and welded up a heavy home made unit after a little thinking. It worked. I was surprised by the force required to pull the sleeves. I used 2 by heavy wall tube, a 7/8 ready rod, and made a bottom plate 3/4 thick. I'll see if I can send you a pic, its nothing fancy but I made it out of "in stock" parts (also known as junk) so it didn't cost much, and it works. Trev.

When I pulled sleeves on our 170 I had the same problem. Not having a real sleeve puller, I used my 2 jaw puller on a couple wood blocks. Then using all thread, a rod coupling nut and steel plate I attached a slide hammer above puller and a nut under sleeve to add tension. It took more time to set it up than knock it loose.

I used C channel on top of head with 3/4" threaded rod double nutted on the bottom and a 2" piece of 150 year old oak as a pusher. I'll also suggest using some heat to soften the JB welded in sleeves.

I had the same problem once. A friend has a 40 ton hydraulic puller, he had all 6 out in 30 minutes. No pounding, just slow and steady.

When I worked at the Mack dealer we used a welder and welded around the sleeve at the midsection. Of course we used wet rags and protected the crank. Sometimes it took a couple of tries. Food for thought.
