I have a Farm Collector magazine, Dec. 2004 with an article about Mr. Stan Wolf and some of the collection, mainly the Black Hawk 40 and the AC SP 40 combine.
He stated in this article that the Park Service wants the Black Hawk but he wasn't ready to let them have it yet, but didn't mind letting them display it now and then.
Imagine what it may sell for if the government still wants it.
I bought this at Cabela's (must have been Xmas shopping) for that article but would let it go to someone that wants it. If Wolf can sell the tractor I can sell the mag!

Years ago I was in the market to buy a dump truck and skid steer loader. I went to a few w auctions, got the print out of what was for sale so I could track what things sold for. After one of the w auctions there was another auction in west Virginia by a different auction company. Dump trucks, skid steers, track loaders, etc. Etc. Sold at the w auction were now at this auction in WV.
I hate auctions lol. I've never been to one where I thought "hmmm, that's a pretty good deal"
You never really know what condition, history, mess your about to buy.
I hate auctions, wait I already said that.

The question has been asked is it really from the Eisenhouer farm
Stanley personally told me that he bought from the Eisenhouer farm.
That is about as good of a confirmation as you can get.

I have all of the prices wrote down at home.  The M7 sold for $26,000 and is going to Poland.  In my opinion some prices were high and some were low.  I will try to report back the prices sometime tomorrow.  It rained the entire time the tractors sold.  Most of the tractors didn't run very well....I'm guessing due to bad gas/carbs needing cleaned.

I'd be kind of interested in the price on the Ford 6000.

That seems like a good price on the A-C #40 combine, though....

The WF went for $2100. As they were driving it to the sale ring the radiator hose blew so they pulled it the rest of the way. At least one rear rim needed to be replaced due to calcium damage. The other rim may have been able to be saved. Both rear tires had big cracks. It looked pretty good otherwise but I didn't hear it run.

The combine brought $9800.

AC G with 42" belly mower went for $2500.
B went for $1400. Was originally hand start but was converted over.

The Ford 6000 price I have at home. It looked great and was one of the best running tractors at the sale.

I was surprised on the price of the articulated G.  It had 8 almost new tires.  There was a lot of money spent on it.

The Blackhawk went for around $35,500 and was bought by the Park Service and was going back to it's home at the Eisenhower Farm.

Fred- I would be interested in knowing where it was going. Is it local? It sold by the Internet and the auctioneer said Poland but things were a little disorganized so it doesn't surprise me if it was announced wrong.
