Are spin-out (power adjust track rear wheels) sold on new tractors?
I have looked over most new tractor manufactures sites and it seems this feature is not available anymore. |

Kubota has them as an option on their 100+ M-series. Only made 38" and smaller, many of the 100 hp tractors today use 42" rubber. However, they are not an option on the AGCO LT or Massy 5400 series. If a person wanted them they would need to be special ordered without tires or rims then get the rims and centers from Unverferth and source tires locally.

Question is, why would a person need in a todays world?
Seems almost all tractors are set one time and left that way.
The smaller tractors are hardly used in a complete farm operation.
I don't change the wheel spacing on my tractors.
The larger one's are 'set and forget' for the larger equipment.
How many people on here use one tractor for every job for their farm operation?
I see a lot of tractors dedicated to a implement and left there, saves alot of time on larger equipment, moving and change over.
I do remember plowing(set wheels), planting and cultivation(set wheels), mowing, etc(set wheels), on and on, same tractor, spin outs are very nice, but does anyone do this now? Edited by JoeO(CMO) - 07 Oct 2012 at 5:59pm |

We only move wheels now when we buy a new to us tractor or when we are going to moldboard plow some ground. All our tractors, that will, narrow up enough are set on 60" centers except for our loader tractor as it gets tippy set that narrow. 60" track does not work with any plow we have...well

If you row crop on 30's and do any hay it would be a benefit to change wheel tread.
