What year did Allis chalmers used riveted front rims? I looked at an B at an farm that my friend rents. No one was home so I didn't what to poke around to much but the front rims are riveted on, crank start, with an belly planter on it.  thxchuck

From B101 thru B9018. 1938.

  rims were rivited only in 1939  1938 had cast iron centers with a wedge bolt 1939 after s/n 

   26,???  then they went to bolts   in swinfords book     i had a 1937-1938-1939
   sold them in 05    all  were different with wheels

Norm's right, I was wrong. After looking again I don't even see the riveted ones listed in the parts book??

Found it. serial #9019 thru 26524 were riveted. Late 1938 and most of 1939.
