Not mine. Sure to sell quickly. Its in Saegertown, PA, but nobody knows where that is. It is near Erie.

And yes, it has a CA's wfe on it.

Comment in ad suggest non-runner - carb issue (bring spray bottle with gas to bypass carb issues and see how it runs.).

Picture shows it to be a Johnny Cash tractor. C rear end with CA front
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I'm trying to go look at it.  It doesn't look bad and I can use the mower.

I'm bringing it home tomorrow.  Mower is in good shape, tin is straight, has an alternator conversion on it, doesn't have as many oil leaks under it as the Super C it sat next too either.  The only negatives as far as I could see besides it not running was welds on wide front end, front tires are pretty bad with cords showing, magneto ignition not a distributor, no muffler, fuel system was cobbled up.  It will be a good mower for my 10 year old once I get it running.

Congrats.

If it runs good, you could sell the mag and get enough for it to buy a points ignition and 1 new front tire.

Muffler ($30 TSC to $120 stainless at Steiner).

Even if the engine needs rebuilt, you made out ok.

nothing wrong with a magnito ignition. I have several tractors , all have a mag, all have electric start, all start with the motor rolling over 1-2 revolutions.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

It ran 4 hours after I got it home but it has a terrible backfire and the governor is surging badly.  Looks like an under hood muffler so plenty quiet.  It will shift thru all the gears, seems like that is sound.  I'm happy with it, even though I am still scratching my head a bit.

"Terrible backfire"

1. Exhaust valve too tight - never fully closes/burnt valve-pops worsen as engine warms up.
2. Exhaust leak(s) at exhaust port(s) and running very rich
3. Timing way too advanced
4. Multiple of the above.

Found two manifold bolts rusted away and gasket blown out. I think I have it figured Kmag, should be good in a week or so. The carb was the dirtiest I've ever cleaned.
