Last weekend I went to the local dirt track to watch the go kart races.
After the races I was visiting with a couple ole boys.
There were two little boys playing catch with a football.
The ball rolled over by me so I picked up and decided to throw a long one.
Next thing I know I’m on the ground with serious back problems.
Still hurts a week later.

Your mind is writing checks that your body cannot cash! BTDT. All it takes is one wrong twist.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

I pitch to the 12 year old grandson to practice baseball hitting... Told him by the time he is 14 my arm will not be able to pitch FAST enough for him to practice... I feel it after 20 minutes of "medium fast" now.

He said the other day they were practicing doing PULL UPS on the chin bar.  Wanted to know how many i could do.... I said NONE these days.. Big smile ... I can lift from the ground up to my waist or chest... NOTHING Gets lifted over my HEAD.

Well good buddy, you're learning what I did those many years ago.  That's about the only thing I can throw now, is my back OUT...  If the ball comes near me, I KICK it back to the kids,,,,,,,SOFTLY.  That's another way to throw your back out!
You're at that age now that you have to think before you act!
Yep, ole age isn't for the faint of heart...
