The distance from the inside of the tire to the first plow bottom should be the same as the distance between the two bottoms

Usually on tractors like the CA, B, C using a two bottom plow the wheels are closed in all the way.

I noticed that there is going to be a "seminar" at the Hutchinson show this year on setting up a plow. Isn't it also a GOTO this year? Sounds like this would be a show not to miss...

Are you using 12 inch, 14inch or 16 inch plows? Inside right rear tire to first point  should be the same distance as the plow width i.e. 12 inches for a 12 inch bottom. Remember you want your right tire  at plow depth and your left tire is at top of dirt. To achieve this, First place the tractor and mounted plow on a flat concrete floor or driveway.  To set your plow, if you want to plow 6 inches deep, place a 6 inch block under your left rear tire. Use a 5 inch block to set 5 inches deep.   With the lift handle down .Adjust your plow so both bottoms are sitting flat on the floor both directions. This should get you every close to being adjusted. After you shine the bottoms up . you might want to make fine adjustments in the field.

To add to gold642's comment, the front wheels need to be blocked up to, if it is a narrow front. Wide front just block the left front.
