Sat ours back just before bed last night.  Oven, a couple Battery Clocks and replaced those batteries, may get to Smoke Detectors tonight as we have a Memorial Toy Ride, likely In the Rain, set for today.

Seems like there was less chatter from the usual sources about the time change. I get up before sunrise most days. Phone is the only thing showing correct time at the moment.

I also noticed that nobody reported or coaxed us to not forget to "Fall Back",,,, My faithful IPhone did have the Fall Back time on it's face Tho,,,,
The wall clock I have relied on to let me know WHEN it was again time to Fall Back or Spring Forward is an Atomic Clock that my #2 Son gave us prolly 25 years ago is STILL showing Spring Forward time,,so it may be getting close to it's end time,,,,,
It is a PITA to reset after battery changing time so  I'm thinking it will just have to re-learn to change itself,,,,,Wink

The spring forward/fall back, daylight saving time/standard time concept is a pain in the ass, there I said it!
Serves no purpose worth value. Did hear on the radio top of the hour newsbreak, Saturday afternoon, a major medical association has issued an opinion the twice yearly clock change does more harm than good.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Set the clocks before bed. Hat a power flicker and all lost time. Didn’t know if my phone changed or not.
Finally went out to check in my truck. The cell phone had changed.
I then re set all the clocks.

The dates to “spring forward “/“fall back” were changed several years back. Your wall clock still has the old dates programmed into it.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

And still the old Indian adage holds, Only a White Man will cut one end of blanket off, sew to
Other end and swear has longer blanket.

Jay you have gone thru this 60 or 70 years maybe!!! So it should be a total surprise! Lol. Was on the news all week. All talk about how hard this will be on people. So I guess these morons have never gone to bed an hour later or gotten up and hour earlier. Took me 30 seconds to get used to it - the amount of time it took to change the one clock that does not change itself. Smile
