Got her done this afternoon. 200 hadn't been started all winter. Started 1st time over. Got the disk hooked up, went over the ground 3 times. Harrowed twice. Ground worked up the best it ever has in the 30+ years I'Ve been here. Put the old gal in the seeder cart and ground out the seed. Alfalfa and oats. Old gal bellyached about the price of seed oats. Feed oats she bought last year and the alfalfa seed she got never grew. It was coop seed. Always grew before. Anyway I got some Pioneer today. I use to use F/S WL seed. But last time I was at F/S the guys acted like they didn't care if I walked in the door. Supposed to rain tomorrow. This time I hope so. Breeze was drying out the dirt real quick this afternoon.

Do you plan to bale the oats? That's what I'm going to do, but sew for horse hay. Alfalfa can be too hot for horses I feel like. Good stuff though. Hope you get a good stand.    Leon

Leon. I forgot to mention, not horse feed, cow only. These guys want about 90% alalafa and the rest a mixture of grass/clover/etc. Yes I will bale the oats. My combine hasn't been run in 20 years.
