Who sells the best sediment bowl assembly for a CA and WD45? I bought one at a farm supply store for my WD45 and it leaked badly from the petcock even after I tightened the packing nut. It was made in China. I put the old one back on, even though the petcock knob was gone and you have to use pliers to close it. Is there a good US made sediment bowl assembly sold anywhere?

I think they are most all made in China anymore, I did ask NAPA one day on something different for one of my tractors, I wanted American made (what ever it was) and they got me one, a little more expensive, but it had more weight to it. you might ask your local supplier (like auto zone/Napa/Orielly's) about them that way. i'd take the one back and tell them it leaks.

I've got a box of old ones... 'rob Peter to pay Paul', so far so good cause I refuse to give TSC 38 Canucks for the Chinese Krap ! Try replacing the packing with new O-ring or few turns of teflon tape ?

FWIW, I was in NAPA the other day and noticed a rack with an assortment of sediment bowl assemblies. One looked similar to the one on the D15, so I picked it up, turned it over and it listed all the tractors it would fit, including the D15. It looked like a perfect match. Even the screen looked the same. $29.90 as I recall.

Left NAPA and went to Orschlens for something else and near the section selling hitch pins was also a rack with sediment bowl assemblies. These were some generic looking things with no model fits listed on them. I took them to be crapola junk from China.

If I was looking for a sediment bowl, I'd take a chance on the ones from NAPA. Looked to be the same thing I'd expect to get from DJ's, Steiners, etc.

Again, FWIW.

If the sediment bulb assembly gives me trouble I usually just do away with it and put in an inline cutoff and an inline filter. And no I have never had any problem
with an inline filter unless 1)its stopped up or 2)water in the tank.
