The dogbone under the seat is nearly worn through as it looks to me. The paint is differant shades over the tractor. The dash and hood paint are aged differantly. Paint on the hood looks way better than the steering wheel and cap. But I may be wrong. I wouldn't go look at it expecting original paint. Engine actually looks totally a new paint and over a little crud under altenator. JMHO Tracy Martin

My boss when I was in highschool had a tractor with a loader on it, was a pretty nice machine...I suppose a lot of folks abuse them but so far the ones I've had dealings with were ok. I was trying to help till I realized the guy was looking for new condition for the price of rode hard and put up wet.

1.He'll find a specific tractor in fixer-upper condition for a good deal.
2.He'll find a specific tractor in great condition for a kings ransom.

I agree that $20,000 tractor was insane, I'd swear they must have put an extra zero in there.

Explain what you mean. Maybe I I have misunderstood your comment. Tracy Martin

Holy cow, 20 G's for a 175? Those steering cylinder hose lines hanging down underneath look like good candidates for getting snagged on something. For 20 G's those hoses should be properly secured.

I think it may be legit, though a bit steep in price anyway. I love the zoom pictures on tractorhouse! This is exactly what you're looking for Tracy. I bet you weren't budgeting that kind of coin! LOL!

I think the 20k tractor might be legit, but I wouldnt say till I could see it for sure.  That being said the seat is the major thing that makes me think otherwise with it ripped.  We have two extremely nice low houred tractors in our collection and have had some tell us they are two good for original but our mechanic says they have all the factory runs in the paint. And he has work for an AC/AGCO dealership since 1975.

Thats not too far away, the guy before the current owner, had it listed with a brush hog, for $5000 on CL. This guy I am guessing low balled that, and is now asking $5500 for just the tractor. He is a local wheeler/dealer.
