Yup, ya dun good !!!
I like the adjustable 'foot' for holding it up. Hope you don't mind but I'm going to 'steal' that idea for mine, when....I get around to repairing it.

That is a section of pipe that someone has welded on the blade with a stand that slips through the pipe. You can put a bolt or pin through the holes to allow it to stand up by itself. It kind of binds a little on the tractor step when in the up position, but not too terribly bad. But if you look under the tractor, it also has a strap that I believe was the original way of holding up the end.

got a close up of the stand and position? Sounds like it should have been back just a couple of inches so as not to bind on the step when up.

Goose,
I see an accident waiting to happen. You should never use the bolt on arm latches with a Snap Couple tool. If the bell gets disconnected, the implement can and will flip up pinning you against the steering wheel. With the proper lift latches, it will disconnect at the lift arms before it hits you on the back of the head. As far as the jack, if you straighten out that hangy down thing on the draw bar, you can pitch the jack. The original flat strap works great and you don't need to get off the tractor to put it down or up. |
