I want all to know I had what i
thought was a member mail me saying he has a friend who has the parts for my
tractor and here's his email, i then emailed him and he said I have your
parts just give me your address and use Google pay for payment which I did.
Next day i was on this forum and found another posted scam using the name
(asak324) this is the same scammer who contacted me along with
(Correa Joseph <correajo124@gmail.com>)
and (Kainanryan5@gmail.com) (qcvtrades@gmail.com) I want all
to Be on the lookout for these addresses . Unfortunately for them
they picked the wrong guy to scam. Sometimes you don’t know who you’re dealing
with.

Another idea is using a credit card through say Pay Pal - linking credit card as source for Pay Pal account gives 2 outfits than can stop someone from absconding with your funds without sending anything in return.

I have disabled that account and it appears another moderator has removed the original posts.
With AI growing I am confident we will only see more of this. I have seen on from several other platforms. There's not much can be done from an Admin standpoint, so please use very careful judgement.

I think that your best bet is to have manual user account activation where you ask someone signing up to provide some answers which an admin has to verify look sane before he enables the account. X number of posts lets you do certain things. Steel Soldiers does it this way IIRC. Making someone solve reCANCER puzzles to look for fire hydrants doesn't work well. I speak from experience on a phpBB forum. The AI thing for the time being is an overhyped fad, but you're probably right in the long run. For now, Filipinos and Indians are cheap if you're trying to run a scam and want to farm it out.
My guess on that IP is that it is a clapped out VPN endpoint, tor exit node, hacked router, or something of that nature. There is certainly someone keeping a list of current "suspect" IPs and probably with an API that you can pay for.

There have been new members and also long time members who for some reason become questionable in dealings .
Most individuals are trusted in joining UNTIL they make some remark or move to bring question to their motive for being on the site.
There are individuals on the site who can then act on their ability to change things .
It seems to have worked well for many years and the SUPREME BEING of this site has done a good job keeping it all running smoothly .
