I just inherited a very nice Ruger 77/22 in 22 Hornet.
It’s missing the butt plate. I’m looking but no luck so far.
I’m sure it was removed in an attempt to make it shorter for my mother.
It’s probably buried away in her things but we have been through most and not found it.
Was also missing the magazine but we did find it in some stuff.
I’m looking to order one but haven’t found anything yet.

You prolly could cut one out of some rubber horse mats, if you have access to any.  If one don't do it, use 2 or as many as needed...Wink

Another way to do it, is to make one... trace the shape onto 14ga steel, use belt grinder to get it to pretty shape, then cut mat (as Dave suggested), then adhere it... then shape it to suit...

Or adapt another buttplate, or buy a 'make it custom' buttplate... install a McMillan Pachmqary Decelerator recoil pad to it...
Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.
