Bought a white top baler a few years ago. Nice condition. Set in my shed since. Got out last night and tried to run but top belts will not turn. Roller is turning.  Anybody have any suggestions as to  why belts are not turning. the other rollers are free and turn but the belts just seem to not grab on the drive roller.

Run some hay into it. Then they'll turn. Darrel

before you put too much hay into it, gotta make sure the brake is not stuck or you will have more problems...

Sometimes after sitting all winter it takes a little hay fed into the chamber to start them turning. Stand behind the baler, in the bottom right hand corner you will see a brake band. Loosen up that band and make sure it is not stuck to the drum. You need To do this after the baler has set for any length of time.
