He lives near Donnanberg, NE.  I ran into him at the Husker Harvest days about 10 years ago.  He was selling his books at the AGCO booth.  I bought a book for myself and one for a now late friend.  My friend had been in his neighborhood a few months earlier, picking up some furniture for a guy and drove around in the rental box truck looking for Roger's place but couldn't find it.  I told Roger about it so he wrote in the book, "Chris, where are you, been waiting for you to come by!"

Roger came to one of our tractor shows, which was arranged through some relatives of his that was in our club. He wanted to drive a tractor in a parade that we had thru a local amusement park. So I was glad to volunteer my 45 Diesel. He had never driven one before, their was a picture of him driving it in the Ageless Iron Almanac August 2015

I also met Shameless at one of our shows. He's not as bad as you make out. We had some pleasant conversations. He's wife was neat too.

I have a couple of his books. Busted Tractors and Rusty Knuckles and Old Tractors and the Men Who Love Them.
I think I watched him nearly every Sunday, when he did postcards from Nebraska  on CBS Sunday Morning.
