Why is there never time to do it right the first time, but always time to go back and fix it?

My wife had the guilts for having to work a few 60 hour weeks and not being home much. So she bought plane tickets, rental car, hotel reservations and paid for my parts at Hutch. The weekend started with Friday and Saturday at GOO in Hutch and Sunday at a car museam then lunch at Hooters at the mall of america. and she didn't even want to go shoping awile we were there. What she didn't realize is that i realy didn't miss her when she was at work.

The universal answer to all questions is yes, how much do you want to spend?

I actually just got done with a $30,000 kitchen makeover for the wife. Took me almost a year with months of 10 12 hour days. and all I got out of it was a few dewalt hand tools and such and a lighter wallet. My wife must be cheap. I will have to show here what guys like John gets, maybe, just maybe she will be more understanding. NOT

I'm with you there, my wife wanted the barn remodeled and a new roof put on the cattle barn. I ended up with a Genie S40 bucket lift and a new framing nailer. My mother-in-law wanted an addition on the house and I got a backhoe.

Jeff, you never let a wife know all your capabilities. If you do she will have a need for them all the time. Unless your wife is like mine and makes me learn capabilities I never had before. ( Well if you can do this then I know you can do that).

Went out to the farm to mow yesterday morning while it was still cool. Instead, found a dead battery (almost 5 years old) in the CA that needed to be replaced first. By the time I drove 10 miles to Auto Zone (local NAPA was closed), got a new $95 battery, cleaned up the cables, etc. It was already getting hot outside. But, the new battery did the trick and then I spent the next 3 hours listening to that sweet engine and sweating my @!* off.
All in all, a good day.
