Installing the hydro output seal in my L2 and that seal 71160387 was either $84 or $94! Didn't look special to me but I was in a hurry so it's in now. Also put in the input seal on the transmission just because I was already there and that was priced much much lower. Anyhow the bolt in frame under the hydro unit was busted loose when I took it off. Or I should say the plate it bolted to was busted loose. That plate had the crappiest factory weld I had ever seen on any piece of equipment. I took pics of that crap...... if I could figure out how to download them from my new phone, I would.

Anyone seen that before? A break in that area?

It's welded up solid now. I gotta say that was an easy job even with the welding.

Might as well install a new drive coupler between the hydro output and the tranny input and never seize it liberally.

When I took it apart the coupler looked new and had an AGCO sticker on it. I lubed it up with synthetic grease. The blue stuff.
