I have a 1947 wc and im torn on what I want to do for the back rims. Should I paint them orange or silver? Which leads to my next question. What is the official color I should use for the back rims if it is silver?

I use CaseIH silver rim paint on my A-C silver rims. Very good match. 47 WC rears rims are silver

I use the Case silver too. If you aren't set up to spray with a gun brushing on a few coats and then coming back with the spray can works ok.

Rims were galvanized from the factory. You may what to look into having them re-galvanized. I had 10 sets of rims done at a cost of $26.00 per rim. Had one set done 18 years ago and even filled with calcium chloride they have not started to rust.
