Is there a good place to get these sight glasses? I have one that is loose and won't tighten.

Agco had them a few years ago. They take an o-ring to tighten and seal.

Glass threads are stripped. I'll check AGCO.
Thanks all, Roscoe.

Here's what I have found with the sight glasses over many years of work on equipment. In the picture the ones on the left are GM #12475420, they were used for radiator sight glasses in heavy GM units. The problem with those is they are plastic and over the years they turn white, the replacement has a brown color to it and seems to last longer. Problem with that is hard to see light oil in it. The middle ones are AGCO #70265359, glass but the threads do go bad if over tightened. The one on the right are Case/IH # 427708C1, same as AGCO, mostly found in school bus units. All of them have the same threads, I like the plastic ones to have around in case I break one or one falls out in the field. Glass is the best for visibility but the plastic has more threads.

It doesn't take much for tight to keep them from leaking with the oring.Too many think they must be TIGHT! and that's what kills the threads.
