A while back some one posted some pics of a rear grader blade they outfitted with hydraulic cylinders for angle. I'd appreciate it if you could repost or post a link to the page.

Someone did a great job on the project. It could offset to pull snow out from under a trailer or overhang. I think it also had a trip edge.

Hi Dan. I believe that this unit belongs to 'nick51ca' from Zimmerman, MN.. What a beautiful combination. I hope it works really well. I would also be anxious to see more pictures of it in action. Perhaps nick51ca will see your Post and chime in on it. I noticed his Posts, with these pictures, were from Jan. 2015 +/-. I am hoping that he may have updated pictures, and or, a video. Ross D.

I found an old post of his:
Started by building a loader frame similar to the #8 using 2"x3" 11ga tubing.
21T #60 sprocket mounts to a PTO extender and drives a 1" 6' drive shaft. Supported by a bearing on each end and one in the middle. The rear sub frame connector extends all the way to the back and bolts to the rear of the rail, the middle bearing support is welded to it.
The three point bracket comes off these blowers, making it relatively easy to make your own mount. The direction is reversed via idlers, used 21T drive sprocket and #60 chain up front.
The gear box moved a bit just by pushing on the chain. Added the braces, right arrow, to fix this. This helped but it still moved so added a brace from the lower idler to the gear box, left arrow. These were the only mods to the actual blower, could bolt the three point mount back on and still use it that way.
I'll make a video when we get some decent snow again. Steers a bit hard when lifted and not moving but just fine if lowered or moving. No traction problems as long as there is no ice, and there are no weights or fluid right now. Uses live hydraulics that were added last year to control the chute.

I didn't want to do the front mounted pump or electric option for what I wanted to do so this is what I came up with, hopefully it helps someone.
Used a mini Nippondenso alternator, it's small enough to fit under the hood. Pump was placed where the generator used to be, it has a double pulley.
Drilled and tapped the thermostat housing to add a mounting plate, used silicone to keep it from leaking. It's not shown in the picture above but there is also an L bracket from the thermostat bolt to the front of the alternator pivot bolt so the pivot is supported on both sides.
Top view of the tank, you can see the three brackets that were welded to it.
Parts List: I figured this pump with the 3" pulley should give about 4gpm/1600psi @ 1650, the .517 cu. in. should be about 6gpm/1200psi. Running 2" cylinders the 4gpm seems plenty fast enough for me, not bad even at idle. The hoses are 3/4" suction, 1/2" return, and 3/8" pressure. When it got cold the hydraulics started slowing down and the belt slipping, switching to a low viscosity hy-tran solved that problem.
Finished product, the alternator is hidden under the hood.

Made a rear snow blade that works well for clearing out the drifts under the edge of my trailer and getting into corners, or when there is just a dusting of snow. It's no wider than the tractor so it fits anywhere the tractor does but I can offset it or change angle. I have a good sized area that's sort of boxed in where the snow needs to be pulled, scooped, or blown out.

Don't have any newer videos or pics but if you want to see something in particular just ask. Everything still works well and I'm especially happy with the blower.
