While certainly not orange, it isn't meadow green either. My information has it that only about 250 of these Mist Green Olivers were produced in  a one week period in January of 1959. Marketing thought that this new color would make the tractors appear larger when going head to head with the 560 International tractors. Needless to say, they weren't received well and soon went back to their original color. This tractor is an original LP model but it does not have the correct tank and some of the plumbing is not original either. The Swartz wide front will probably come off and the original narrow front be put back on.

are those VW wheels on the front? it is a nice looking tractor, but is can see why no one liked that color!

Oliver used front rims like that.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.

I also remember seeing that color on other things, but don't remember what....something military?
