 Topic: Radiator on a WD45

Going to be putting in a new Radiator on my wd45 this weekend. It looks to be pretty simple but it there any tips or tricks that i may need to know to help with the process?

I'd replace the top and bottom hoses,clamps and fan belt too.

3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

If you have a 3/8" ratchet with a long extension and a 3/4" socket, it's pretty easy. Put the socket on the bolt, then put the ratchet extension through the hole in the bottom lip of the frame rail. Does that make sense? That makes it easy to use a ratchet to get the 2 radiator bolts out. If you have a narrow front, you may need to turn the wheels a bit to get some clearance for the ratchet, but it works slick. Other than that, I'll second that Don said.

Make sure tha tyou have the correct radiator with the small overflow tube that points toward the back of the tractor and routes down the right side. A&I is selling WD45 radiators with overflows pointing out the right side that require cutting the hood.
Yes... I now have an ugly notch cut into top of my hood...

Thanks guys for the input. Radiator is now swapped out and we are leak free
Took a couple hours including cleaning the 1" of gunk off the front of the motor caused from 30 years of the valve cover leaking. Don't worry gasket has been replaced also.
