R62 ac condenser, best way to clean?

   we purchased an r62 over the winter and I've been spending some time tinkering when I have time. the cab fan was not blowing much air at all so we took the panel off under the cab and the fan squirrel cages were full of dirt and the front of the condenser had a layer of dust. we have a special air nozzle for the condensers in the l3s but the 62 condenser is 3 inches thick and it seems as though we can't do a good enough job with just pressurized air to get it clean. so what's the best way to get it clean to get more air volume. both the upper and lower cab filters have been replaced.

	Water. Lots and lots of water. Let it dry and do it again. Then seal that box as tight as you can. Make sure your vents are always open on the steering column. The A/C is not the R62 s strong point. You’ll never want 2 big people riding in that cab on an 85 degree day.

	I guess I have miss-stated. I'm not an air conditioning guru. I am working on the part under the cab that the fan puts air through the (evaporator?) and the heater core to get vented to the cab. When I took the panel off under the cab, the squirrel cages on both ends of the fan motor where 90% blocked with dust. The evaporator? had a 1/4" layer of bean dust covering it. There is very little space between the heater core and ac component. Should I remove heater core to get a pressure washer nozzle at the ac component? Nothing looks very easy to remove. The ac isn't cooling but I'm not worried about charging the system until I have good air flow. It looks like this was the one thing the previous owner did not keep up on. Thanks for any input. 	Leon, anything you can remove to help clean that box area under the cab, remove it. It’s a messy job but if you get it good and clean, you’ll probably never have to do it again. Clean the top cab filter every day when you’re using it and the bottom filter will never get dirty. I used to only buy one cab filter each year. I’d replace the bottom one and put the old bottom filter to the top of cab. Then throw the old top filter away.. Some really dusty days ,I’d even stop and tap the top filter during the day to knock the dirt off. Hope this helps..

	You have to have thin fingers, but there are screws in the rear if the evaporator's mounting flange. Take the 1 or 2 of them out. Same in the front. Should slide straight down. Theres enough hose on mine, I was able to set it down in a barrel cut in half longways to let it soak in water/cleaner solution as long as you like. The longer the better. I then used my pressure washer and backed the pressure way down and carefully washed stright through the fins.
