Trying to pull the centers off of my 7030, and wanted to run a tap through the wedges. Have a 7/8 nc and 7/8 nf and neither matches threads on push off bolts. What size are they? Thanks, wes
Just did a search and see 7/8-12. Is this what they are? Edited by Wes (VA) - 06 Dec 2016 at 7:52am |

yes, and odd thread of 7/8"-12. My matco guy got me one. I'm sure McMaster-Carr, or Grainger, or simply search ebay for one.

Thanks Ed. Btw the 7040 runs, still need to drop tanks and clean, (had it running off of a bucket of fuel) and put a turbo on as this one is rusted out.

I have taken a grinder with a thin blade and cut a grove cross ways of the threads of a push bolt. I've run it though a couple of times to clean out some dirt. The grove gives the dirt a place to go.
