I stumbled across a PTO attachment for an Allis garden tractor.  A belt runs off the central gearbox of the tractor and turns a PTO shaft that hooks up to a stationary implement.  I would like to mount it on my 914 and run the hay elevator with it.  Have any of you guys used one before?  Does it work pretty well?  I need to find a belt and try it out.  Several years ago, someone had one for sale on here.  Any information you could share would be helpful.  Thanks!

We ended up with one of them and mounted it on a B-10. Ran a rotobaler as part of a stationary display at a tractor show with it. Also checked the horsepower of the lawnmower at the M&W dyno area. Dad had a customer that ran a corn hiker or hay elevator with one on a 716, he said it worked really good for him.

Back in 1976 I purchased a new 716H with 48"deck, 36" roto tiller, and pto attachment.
The pto attachment was used to operate a 41ft 7" auger to fill a wet bin. Also used the same auger and tractor to unload dry corn from a bin. We are currently still using the 716H and the auger. The pto attachment was a very handy tool.

We use one to put hay up in the barn on a 716H,works real good. It is nice not having a big tractor in the way. Although we have an engine issue right now so we haven't got to use it yet this year. I'll see if I can find a size or measure the belt.
