Ok who wants to describe the design of the 6060?
Where did the parts come from, is it an all-American Allis?
What kind of power steering, engine, fuel injection, clutch, transmission, power director?, differential, finals,PTO actuation. Does the hood flip up or panels come off, they steel?
Is that loader Allis made or Allis badged?
Production numbers open station, cab, front wheel drive.

What little I can contribute: http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/000/1/9/198-allis-chalmers-6060.html" rel="nofollow - http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/000/1/9/198-allis-chalmers-6060.html Made in USA. Doesn't say "Made in USA with foreign parts," but didn't have to back then lol.

Engine is Allis-Chalmers 433 Turbo, has 2 shift levers, short one is for hi/neutral/lo and forward motion must be stopped to shift that one, long one is gear selector, has 4 speeds per range, 3-4 and 7-8 can be shifted on the go w/clutch. No power director. The hood side panels are fiberglass and must be lifted off similar to a 7000 series panel. The grille surround is also fiberglass, top of hood is steel. Transmission, dual clutch setup, finals, pto and 3 point are Italian made (Fiat, as mentioned in an earlier post). Cab is similar to the 8000 series, if equipped, except slightly smaller. Fuel injection is Roosa Master, PTO is true live and engaged by a lever on the right hand side of operator, power steering is run off the hydraulic pump.

That is good info guys. Found this thread on this site.

Well, my Allis-Chalmers 160 has a Renault (french) trans/rear end, and in addition an English Perkins engine. I think all the modern tractors are similar, global suppliers. The AGCO power engines are from Finland.
My 1948 Allis-Chalmers model C is all-american? Perhaps my Allis/Simplicity 620. Keepers.

Very similar trans/rear to my Oliver 1365 tractors.New Holland tractors being sold today in that range are very similar as they are Fiat built.Which one has the better motor of the 3?
Hard to say but parts for my Fiat built Olivers  cost less of the 3 tractors.
