a dude coming thru town today was turning a corner with his semi, pulling a grain trailer on his way to Cargil. tried to beat a red light, and rolled his semi right on the turn. dumped about 700 bu out on the pavement. brand spank'in new grain trailer, local grain elevator came and vacuumed up the corn into another trailer. says he only had liability insurance on it! tractor and trailer tore up pretty bad as both hit the curb and slid a bit. he sure did save alot speeding up on that yellow light!

We have had 2 truck wrecks in a week. First one driver tried to beat a light with a load of corn and got hit by a train. The other was a load of milk same scenario driver tried to beat a light and rolled the truck and trailer.

I bet the 1st guy will DO IT AGAIN within 2 years time now that he's taken the 'new trailer shine' off he won't have a reason to slow down. So does the grain lose value ? I'm thinking it'd have to be 'screened ' to be sure trailer tin or other foreign objects aren't in it ?

Considerable number of Yahoos driving like that around here, many are old farm hands that drove in the fields yet never hit the highway or a traffic consideration. Dangerous group.

Shameless you telling us the whole story.
Was it just a dim wit, making bad choices, or was it the BTO farming for the Stockholders???? Where you at that intersection and just happened to have a clicker like the fire trucks have here. To change the light for you. Plenty of drivers of trucks today that should be given a different job.

Had one near here involving a bulk tanker filled with Portland cement another tank truck filled with water and another smaller truck that was being used as a paddy wagon. Only news I've been able to get is that 74 hardened criminals escaped.
