Is Power fluid 821 the same as 80W-90 “gear oil”?

I'm looking at my jug from TSC . It says trans/hydraulic fluid . Has Allis Chalmers 821 on the back . I put it in my D 15 everywhere but the engine . HTH

I think the viscosity is closer 20wt on power fluid. That lower number has nothing to do load carrying ability.
