plowing

 Here is some pictures of my brother and i plowing. I know that that there not allis tractors but they still  are nice to look at. The first one is my dad's 1952 Massey Harris 44 pulling a John Deere model 55 3-16 plow. The second tractor is my 1955 Minneapolis Moline UB Special Diesel. There was only 520 of these built. It is pulling a Minneapolis Moline model AF 3-16 plow. I hope you enjoy    Matt

I like all old tractors (even some Deeres).

The yellow grader is a Adams. I don't know who made the rusty grader. As for the ground i wish it was black dirt too. We are located in the Minnesota River valley so what we are plowing is sand. The reason it looks black is becouse it is wet. Guys tell me that sand plows easy which it does in most places but there is some spots in this field that the plow comes out of the ground becouse it is so hard. MM did build a rather heavy tractor . They liked to use plenty of cast iron. THis tractor weighs about 6,000 pounds. The only underbuilt peice on it is the front axle. They used a heavy peice of i beam in the center and made the knee's and the center plate that it pivots on out of 1/4 iron. These parts are usually been broke and welded many times. I did have the MM on the dyno this year and it was putting out 50 h.p
